Efford Neighbourhood Team - Policing Priorities

As we approach Summer, the Efford Neighbourhood Team have created three priority areas to tackle going forward, these are detailed below. Officers and PCSOs are committed to addressing local issues and concerns within Efford in order to make Efford a safe and pleasant place to live and visit. The public are urged to report issues to us that is of any concern, this can be done via 999/101 or via the website.

There will also be several Meet Your Local Policing Team events where members of the public can meet their local officers and PCSOs and can voice any concerns you may have directly. We look forward to seeing you.

1. Anti-Social Behaviour and Youth-Related Nuisance

Increase visible patrols in identified hotspot areas.

Work with schools, youth services, and housing providers to prevent recurring issues.

2. Violence, Drug Activity, and Exploitation

Target locations associated with drug dealing and related crime.

Conduct proactive operations against offenders causing the greatest harm.

3. Vehicle Crime, and Theft

Focus crime prevention efforts on vehicle theft, and shoplifting.

Promote property-marking, security and crime prevention advice.
